All members of the team have an up-to-date qualification in paediatric first aid, and know how to provide your child with the best possible care. If we have concerns about your child’s welfare during the day, we will contact you to agree the action we think is appropriate.
Health and Safety
Theresa Skillen, Deputy Head of Centre is the Health and Safety Lead.
We take our responsibility for the health and safety of all our children, staff and visitors very seriously. We adhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, for ensuring so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety and welfare of our staff, the children we care for and visitors.
We provide healthy and balanced meals as recommended. The children also enjoy snacks, prepared freshly each day. We ask for feedback regularly from parents as well as from children. We are mindful that some children have allergies and will ensure their individual requirements are followed and respected. All members of staff are qualified in Level 2 Hygiene, Nutrition and Level 2 Allergy Awareness.
We meet the Early Years Foundation Stage welfare requirement on providing ‘healthy, balanced and nutritious’ food and drink.
